Luxury living in the heart of Morganton, NC.  Over one hundred years in the making, the "Trading Company" began as small furniture and textile mills, growing together and expanding over the years to become Premiere Textiles, a leading manufacturer of American made women's clothing. 

After closing in the early nineties and sitting vacant for nearly a decade, forward thinking by The City of Morganton led to the creation of the Morganton Redevelopment Commission charged with revitalizing the six block area around this once vibrant plant.  After obtaining the property and adjoining decaying properties, the Commission issued a Request for Proposal which led Ron Morgan, a Charlotte architect and Henry Holseberg, a South Carolina contractor to buy the property with the intentions of creating a mixed-use building consisting of living and working spaces. 

The complications of historic redevelopment proved to be more than anticipated and forced them to relinquish the project in 2004.  Sunchase American, a Greensboro property management group stepped in and completed the construction in late 2006.  Since then this group and the property have won numerous awards for their efforts.

Today the property is a shining example of public and private enterprise working together for the benefit of all.
